Songs (Phonks) System
In Phonk Clicker, Songs and Phonks are the same concept — each collectible phonk is both a song you can play and a pet entity that provides combat buffs. Every phonk grants unique bonuses like $/click, $/sec, or cash multipliers, making them central to your progression.
How the Phonk System Works
Phonks are obtained through Crates, Lucky Blocks, the Starter Pack, the Robux Shop, Tickets, and Rebirth rewards. Each phonk has a rarity tier (Common through Godly) and a star rating (2-5 stars). Equipping a phonk applies its buff to your earning rates.
Rarity Tiers
Phonks come in 7 rarity tiers, each with increasingly powerful buffs:
common
Common — Basic buffs, easy to obtain
uncommon
Uncommon — Slightly stronger buffs
rare
Rare — Mid-tier buffs, found in Crates and Lucky Blocks
epic
Epic — High-tier buffs with multipliers
legendary
Legendary — Powerful buffs, guaranteed in Starter Pack (3 Robux)
mythic
Mythic — Top-tier buffs, from Insane Lucky Blocks and rare drops
godly
Godly — Highest tier, extremely rare
Star Rating & Merge System
Each phonk has a star rating from 2 to 5 stars. When you collect 4 copies of the same phonk, they automatically merge into a single upgraded version with a higher star rating and improved buff values. The 'Funk upgrading' skill tree node allows you to further upgrade songs inside the Index.
The Index
The Index is your in-game phonk collection panel. It displays all phonks you've collected, their star ratings, and active buffs. You can equip, swap, and upgrade phonks from the Index. New songs are added every weekend.
Weekly New Songs
The developers commit to releasing a new song every weekend. This means the phonk collection is constantly growing, and checking back regularly ensures you don't miss new buffs.
Phonk Collection Tips
- Focus on collecting mythic phonks — they provide the best $/click and multiplier buffs
- The 3 Robux Starter Pack guarantees a Legendary phonk, making it excellent value
- Use Lucky Blocks strategically — higher-tier blocks have better phonk drop rates
- Don't forget to merge duplicate phonks (4→1) for upgraded versions
