Upgrades System
Upgrades are the primary way to increase your earning power in Phonk Clicker. By spending Cash on upgrades, you boost your $/click, $/sec, and cash multipliers — creating an exponential growth loop that drives the entire game forward.

How Upgrades Work
Upgrades can be purchased from the upgrade shop using Cash. Each upgrade falls into a category (click income, auto income, or multiplier) and becomes progressively more expensive. You can purchase upgrades one at a time, in batches of 10, or use the 'max' button to buy as many as you can afford.
Purchase Modes
x1 (Single)
Buy one upgrade at a time. Useful for testing or when you're just short of the next tier.
x10 (Batch)
Buy 10 upgrades at once. Great for mid-game when you have surplus Cash and want to quickly scale.
Max
Spend all available Cash on upgrades. The fastest way to scale when you're ready to rebirth.
Merge System (4→1)
When you collect 4 copies of the same upgrade or phonk, they automatically merge into a single upgraded version with higher stats. This means collecting duplicates isn't wasted — each merge increases your $/click or $/sec significantly.

Upgrade Tips
- Prioritize $/click upgrades early — they compound with multipliers
- Switch to $/sec focus once you unlock auto-clicker in the skill tree
- Use x10 or Max buy to scale quickly before a rebirth
- Don't neglect multiplier upgrades — they amplify all income sources
